Never Fail Steak Marinade


This has become my favorite marinade.  I have used on on all sorts of cuts of beef and even brushed it on hamburgers and let them sit prior to cooking.  It adds so much flavor without being over-powering.


  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste



  1. In a large ziplock bag, mix all ingredients.  You can massage the bag to do this (no need to dirty an utensil!).DSC00525
  2. Place steak in bag to marinade.  
  3. Place bag on a plate and marinade in fridge for desired time. Flip meat half way through marinade. Being somewhat lazy, I have even defrosted the meat in the bag with the marinade.
